Good news:
Paid off a credit card today, totally 100% paid off, and closed it down! tongue Woo-hoo!!!

Bad news:
I mentioned to my mother that my sister's boyfriend was going to propose to her, and I've been getting the 3rd degree interrogation! surreal

Yeah packing totally sucks... especially books.

As you can tell, I survived to the weekend (too bad it's over now frown ). And I managed to have some fun (despite all my confusion).

Congrats on the credit pay off!!!! That can be a tough thing to accomplish.

I think you should celebrate school being over by taking a road trip with some friends.

Oh yeah, thats what my whole class was. Examining the Bible, the books that were left out of the bible such as the dead sea scrolls and such, and pagan religions that predate Christianity. It was very factual. The book is great as far as information is concerned and the story is nice too. I do feel it could have been written a bit better. It seems to have been somewhat dumbed down. Not to an obnoxious level, just noticeable.
I would recommend reading it, but I love the subject matter. miao!!

Today is a special day. On this day, 4 years ago, I stepped into freedom for the first time. On this day, 4 years ago, I moved out of my parents house... at the tender age of 19... and it has been wonderful!! biggrin

On this day, 3 years ago, I bought my truck! Brand new, no co-signer, straight from the dealer. (I dont know who...

If I won the lottery, I would be a very busy girl...
I would spend so much money at Barnes&Noble. I love that place.

And then I would probably have a lot more tattoos!

And I would travel, but I would stay in each place for a few months, so I could really get a feel for the culture. I would go back to Hawaii, because...

I've had that keychain for YEARS. I'm not sure if you can even get it any more. I tend to hold onto a lot of things... I'm kind of a packrat.

Actually, I just got back from Vancouver... I went to Kauai last June. That was the first time my friend and I had been to the islands... it totally rocked.

I would actually get out of debt first if I won the lottery... the rest would be invested so I would never have to work again. My friend's dad is an accountant and we already have a game plan worked out. wink

But I would love to travel to the Amazon. I'm and animal freak and I would love to see everything there in the rain forrest.

haha....really?

Chem instructor beat his previous record today with 57 "essentially"s.
I may have missed a few, they were like rapid-fire gunshots, one after another.

Got to hang out with my best friend Mike today. He's moving to Minneapolis in a week to begin the hunt for a "real" job. Good luck Mikey!

what is it, really, that we should be aware about regarding the lasagna? isn't that strange?? doesn't anyone else think that having an official "awareness month" about a casserole is fucked up?

I went to bed early last night, and I think I dreamed the entire time.

About spaghetti in a garlic sauce, I had to weigh it, and Jamie (my boss at work) wouldnt let me go home till I did. Funny thing, this took place at my parents old house! So I was trying to weigh bowls of spaghetti on a balance like we use...

So Hyperboysent me over to say Hi and all. Welcome to the site. I sure you will have a great time here.

Oh I read the thing about the eggs from your last journal. If you put about a tablespoon of vinegar into the water before putting the eggs in, if they crack the eggs stay inside the shell. Also try putting them into ice water when they are done. That helps to keep the egg yolk yellow and usuallly makes them easier to peel. I am a font of information tongue

Chemistry update: a wimpy 8 "essentiallys" today. I think he may have noticed us laughing yesterday. Today it was "basically" instead. I counted 14 of those instead.

---------------

On a different note: All I want for dinner is an egg-salad sandwich. I drop an egg in the pot of water from too high, and it cracks. Yucky! Then, I guess I had the water boiling...

Chemistry sucks. My instructor sucks. He says "essentially" way too much. Last Friday I counted 56 essentiallys. Is it really essential to say essentially that much?

He doesnt teach us, he talks at us. He gives us a chart, and 5 minutes later we are supposed to have memorized it.

We will be talking about thermochemical equations and azimuthals or some shit, and finish the...

No you dont get a fucking introduction.
