Hurrah! Short but good news, and the usual speal I give every 2 months.
I got my gallon pin! I donated a WHOLE GALLON of blood! :-) That means I have saved almost a dozen lives.
You want to save a dozen peoples lives as well? I will quote my post from the last time I posted:
"Hey everyone, want to support a good cause? Visit Bonfil's website and make an appointment near you! (Colorado donation sites, if you live outside of colorado visit Give Life. I donate every eight weeks, which is the minimum, and I have been for over a year now!
Why donate blood to someone you don't even know? Well, from my personal experience at the hospital I see the actual blood units being distritbuted, I see the sick people that it is saving. From babies as old as 2 hours to people as old as 92 I have seen live, just because someone donated half an hour of their time and a bag of their blood. One donation of whole blood can save up to three lives. Imagine it as being a super hero.
Think it will hurt? No, they use 8 gauge needles (not bad considering hospitals use 4-6 for i.v. sites) and the people collecting your donation are professionals. They have been trained on how to make it as smooth as possible for you!
Just consider doing a good deed, it could save someone special."
Yeah, I still stand by that true and true.

darksphere:
I want to give blood but unless they get rid of that homophobic rule they have, I cant.

Isn't there some kind of weight limit? I think I'm too skinny.
