Root canals suck I had one done a few weeks ago. Thankfully you can hold out on the crown part of it. my future mom in law said she had one last for years and years. Glad you got the infection squared away 
EDIT: 6pm appointment with emergency dentist assuming my insurance clears. One more favor to ask, please cross your fingers and toes and eyes that my insurance will clear and surgery (when it happens) goes safely. Two main options right now are surgery right away OR another script for pain killers until I can have surgery. Love you guys!

Thank you so much, love for the support. I have a brother as well, but mine is 2 years older. He never graduated high school and I helped him take the GED test. He didn't get a job until he was 21.5 and he also didn't get his license until he was 19 or so. He never had to pay for his car, anything. He has always been handed everything, free housing, everything, yet, like you, I was always told I was the screw up.
