Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the passing of a friend of mine. I remember quite vividly what I was doing around that time. I had come home from the Saturday evening performance of the Shakespeare play I was doing, to find lots of messages on my Facebook wall about hoping my friend pulls through. I spent the whole of the weekend from that...

Well, the show's over and done with. I've made a lot of memories and a lot of good friends, so I think the show will be something I treasure always.

Looking forward to starting the pool sessions for my dive training next week. Six months of work leading up to this moment. Can't wait! biggrin

Well, this certainly has been a fun couple of days. whatever

Monday afternoon, my monitor decided to stop working. Turns out the video card had fried, so while I could turn on the computer, it was next to useless without the monitor. So we ended up getting a new card today and installed, so now I'm able to use the computer again.

Well, that's not exactly...

Well, it's going to cost $135 to get the tooth out of my head. It's a lot of money, but it's better than having it still in my head. smile At least I've worked out a way to make sure I can take care of everything I need to take care of till the end of August, so there's no problem there. Then again, no plan...

So it looks as if I'm going to need to get another tooth removed. I had one of my wisdom teeth removed a year ago because it had gotten cracked and I was in pain. Thankfully, I had my work insurance to cover the cost, so I wasn't worried about it.

Unfortunately, I don't have that anymore. Or a job with witch to pay to...

Ugh, I am so sorry. The pain from a cracked tooth is so excruciating. You just pray for relief.
I am happy at least a portion of it will be covered!
alexsevy:
I'm not actually in any pain, mostly because I've spent the past year and a half avoiding eating out of that side of my mouth. But in about a month, the pool portion of my dive training will start, and I'm concerned that I'll be exposing myself to great pain if I leave it in. So knowing that I don't want to put that off any longer than I already have, I figured I'd might as well get rid of it, and worry about the aftereffects later.

Rearranged my top eight friends again. Still feel like doing so is a disservice to those I once had there.

Over the weekend, I decided to try to see if I can access the iTunes store, since every time I've tried lately, it always, without fail, causes my computer to crash. Amazingly, it didn't do it that time, and I was finally excited to be able to buy/download music again.

I tried to do it again a half our ago, and what happens?

Computer crashes....

I feel like I should blog. There was a time when I used to blog either every day or ever other day. At the very least, I try to do two or three a week. Now it seems like I go weeks on end without saying anything. Maybe it's cause I feel like I don't have anything interesting to say.

Anyways, updates. I passed the...

Against my better nature, I decided to take my final assessment today. And, despite answering a few questions wrong, I actually managed to pass it. At least I know now what I need to study in order to make sure I know what I'm doing. And some of them were ridiculously easy, anyway. Don't know how I managed to get them wrong.

Anyways, all I...

Finished my online knowledge development today. Now all I gotta do is take the final assessment and I'll be done. I'll probably hold off doing it for a couple of days in order to devote my time to fully studying for it. (I ended up answering a few questions wrong on it, especially in the last section, which I actually DIDN'T pass the first time.)...

Completed section two of my online learning course last night and found out that there's an Open Water class on August 5th. I'll be heading down to the show tomorrow to talk to the instructor about signing up for it. Hopefully by then I'll have the money to pull it off. Well, I KNOW I should, because, unless things go horribly wrong, I'll have the...

Just completed section one of my online learning course. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be, mostly because I had already done a lot of reading on the subject, so I was more than prepared. Still, I ended up missing a question on the assessment quiz, so even though so I still passed, I've still got a lot of learning to do....
