No go on the BlackBerry.

Thing was too damned expensive! So, not only do you have to pay for your normal service every month, they tack on a 39.99 data service per month.

Man, screw that. I like paying 45 bucks a month for a basic Motorola. Which is what I got today. Except it's purple! smile

I dunno if there is some kinda glitch up...

I hit a plateau with my weight for a little bit so I changed up what I was eating and that seemed to do the trick.

PS, not having to pay a heating bill for 2 months...I think I'd be in Heaven.
Cold weather and my body are not the best of friends so I keep the heat cranked up all winter long.
nikonphoto80:
well I hope you like your new phone.

Sounds good to me, I know I sure wouldnt say anything, energy bills are crazy.

Sooooo....I got bitten.

By the "I want a phone that's more than just a phone" bug.

I've always been oneof those kids that always rolled my eyes at the latest over-rated and over-priced piece of technology. I just want a phone that can dial numbers and recieve calls, dammit!

Well, my contract is up on my phone, and my provider is having this sale right...

Congrats on the new place, I have never really cared what phone I had as long as it was a Nokia, but lately as my employer pays for the contract and every other manager gets the latest and greatest, I thought what the hell let me get a decent phone with all the bells and whistles. It is part of my contract. So I know the feeling.
nikonphoto80:
the BlackBerry Pearl is a really nice phone, they make texting a lot easier, I have the Pantech Duo, its also a pretty nice phone.

The Nikon D40 is a great little camera, I think you will be really happy with it.

That sounds like a really nice place, I hope you love living there and I hope they clean it really good before you move in.

Go you, Im sure you will feel great when you have been at it for a while, I know I do.

A mega thunderstorm came through earlier while me and hubbs were at work....and I left the windows open. FML

Something pretty cool....husband has officially been "smober" since December, and they just now took it off our insurance. Boo for taking so long, but yay for an extra 50 dollars a month.

I really want a nice camera for my birthday. Any suggestions? Something that's not...

Can't breathe. Can't really hear too well. Can't taste anything at all.

Tonight is going to be sooooo fun. (sarcasm)

I'm off to Nashville for the night with my hubby and my brother and sister in law. We're headed to this shindig cocktail party thing in honor of my other brother in law and soon to be sister in law.

So, I get to meet...

I really hope you feel better.

I hope the trip is fun, or at least as fun as it can be while you feel the way that you do.

So, I checked mine and hubby's check stub online and I was in for a pleasant surprise.

Both of our paychecks were about 30 bucks more than what they normally are.

So, I looked at the details, and all the deductions, and come to find out, we're not having as much federal taxes deducted. I guess this is the result of the stimulus, but I...

I really really love Saturdays.

Cleaning the apartment, usually got something baking in the oven, and some german music.

Watching Mystery Science Theatre 3000 later....might hit up the mall too...I dunno.

Ah, freedom!

Making garlic shrimp and broccoli for dinner too!
biggrin

i love Saturdays to, when I get one off, I have to work every other Saturday, it sucks really bad, my place gets so messy on the weeks that I have to work 6 days.

I get the point of tags. I think it's useful and I've certainly tagged sets. But not with stupid ones. smile

we found kitty.....over at the neighbors house....with other kitties.

So, I guess kitty belongs to the neighbors.

Which is kinda crazy/funny.

Cause we found out we live next to John Carpenter's parents.

So, we unwillingly stole John Carpenter's parents' cat.

hahahaha.

But it's cool, cause kitty can just come over and chill whenever she wants.
nikonphoto80:
That is pretty funny, I knew John Carpenter was from KY but I had no idea his parents still lived here, that is pretty cool, were they nice? I hope the kitty comes and sees you at least a couple times a week.

So do you live in a house? I would think that his parents would live in a pretty nice place.

sirkka:
it's pretty rad so far. i can easily see this becoming one of my new favorite movies.

at the show in los angeles, seth green was standing between donald faison and matt senreich up on a chair and he kept yelling "see how it feels to be the little man now!"

kitty is gone.

I came home from work, expecting to see kitty at my feet as soon as I opened the door to our stairwell...

...and nothing.

I hope where ever kitty is......she's ok.

oh by the way, kitty was a GIRL.

frown
nikonphoto80:
Im really sorry, I really hope that kitty will come back to you all safe and happy to see you.
dorsal:

So, last night when me and hubby came home from work....we heard this little kitty crying. Pretty soon, the little guy came around the fence behind our apartment and ran right up to us. It almost sounded like he was crying for help...being that it was about 12 degrees last night and the wind chill was even colder.

So, we did what any soft hearted...

I wish I could take him, if I lived in my new house yet I would come and get him, but I live with a guy who has two dogs that have never lived with a cat, I really hope you can find a home for the little guy.

I had the absolute scariest/freakiest dream last night.

I wont get in to specifics...cause it would take forever.....but the end of the dream ended with a shotgun being placed against my head, but I jerked away right when the trigger pulled.....so, istead of blowing all my brains out....about half of my head was blown away....leaving me still alive and feeling a rush of hot liquid...
