Hilarious... I was discovered by one of my first exes ever on MySpace. He still looks pretty much the same, just with shorter hair.

In case anyone looks for me there, I'm detestablemadness.

Today wasn't bad; just boring lectures and going over what the casual dining course is going to be like over the next few weeks. I'm going to be cooking and serving and...

Got a 90% on my practical final, and I think I did pretty well on the written too.

Thank goodness that's over, but...

*still sad*

Ugh... finals week. I may not be on a lot, but will try to update this tomorrow.

Things are kinda looking up, or at least it feels like it. Besides the lack of sleep... damn insomnia.

And with that, I cue the music, and exit.

Oh my...

Jon and I split. Well, I can't say whether I left him or he left me, but about two weeks after I wrote that last entry, he stopped making any effort to hang out with me or have sex or anything. I asked him about it a few times, and he insisted that he didn't want to break up, but then continued on...

Taking out aggressions on French baked goods always works for me too...weird.

If you're ever in LA, we can drink and breakdown together. I know a few French bakeries where the croissants have been giving me the hairy eyeball. mad

(What goes up...)

Jon and I are cool now. I told him that if he wanted to dump me, that I would understand and he said that he couldn't do that. So it has been decided that we start over. Last night we "officially" started dating. I woke up unbelieveably hyperactive today.

(Must come down...)

But I seemed to have developed an ulcer. Ugh. Now...

I fucked up, big time.

The weekend was okay, no big excitement anywhere... we roommates mostly hid out in our dark corner of the basement watching movies, and I was just trying to relax and be anti-social for a while.

Then Saturday night comes along. I go to a party with Jon and the other neighbors, and start to get a little buzz on. Stevo...

I sure hope so... it's been a couple days and I still haven't been told one way or the other. I hate waiting sometimes.

Just as I expected, I read what I wrote over the entire week so far, and hated it.

I think I'm going to try to take another photoset soon. Maybe one with my Japanese baseball shirt or something. I'll have to think on it tonight.
talisman:
funny how that works. i've had the same experience, but sometimes after several years the words i once hated inform me in a different, almost prophetic way. those can be warm-fuzzy or chill-up-the-spine moments.

hopefully each of us is now going out to play in the autumn air smile

Got drunk last night; stayed up with Jon until 5am drinking, talking, writing, and other fun activities. wink

I wrote some crappy poetry-type shit, and threw in some song quotes. Apologies in advance for turning today's entry into the "oh look at what I think I can do" page. I hate my own poetry, especially after reading it the next day/week/month but am drawn to it...

Ugh.. I need a job. I was going to join a gym, then figured that if I do that, I'll not only be spending money I need, but wasting time when I could be working.

Scholarship applications = no fun.

isn't it funny how that works... tongue

Thursday... the best day last week.

Field trip for school, we went to CenterPoint Energy's test kitchens, where all the new professional natural gas ovens and ranges are tested by restaurant owners and chefs before purchase. We had a couple hours of lectures and Q&A, then the last two hours were us cooking all kinds of food in this super nice new equipment. Chicken, pasta,...
