Thank you for the love on my blog post 💗 I definitely can see why people would be against the hanging imagery in parts of Salem, but this staged piece of the museum was very interesting to look at comparatively to some of the other museums that didn’t have physical representation of the more graphic parts of the trials, imo. I highly recommend the pirate museums in Salem, in addition to the trials museums, though!! Honestly way less watered down historical evidence than the trials, I expect because there’s so much tourism for the trials, it’s become somewhat Disney-ified as a story.

@msquinn I so agree with you that history shouldn't be watered down. Yes, people need to take a tour of concentration camps in Europe and internment camps for Japanese Americans here in the USA just to feel relieved that they are not going to be forced to stay but to be able to imagine the sad reality that people had to (and in the concentration camps, they died, not so for the internment camps, but they lost everything they had and were forced to start over once they finally were freed).
