i record on cakewalk home studio. it's really got nice features for an inexpensive program and i like the layout. my audio interface is an edirol UA-5 which has stereo inputs and phantom power as well and i usually use some cheap condenser mic that sounds pretty good. if i really like some of the stuff, i'll mix the track down to wav and give it to kris - the guy who plays guitar with me. he's got the newest logic, and we tweak it there. we record a lot on logic on his mac, and he's more computer saavy than me.
but the cakewalk is great fer demoing stuff.

my ex used to wear ballet skirts (as she is a dancer) over jeans, which were tucked into boots+leg warmers....this was four years ago and people even at the chicest hollywood parties would laugh at us....now that look is as popular as painted on "dirty" denim, britney spears hats, hip huggers, and rhinestone necklaces slung around the waist as a belt....all of that has gone from eagle rock to sunset plaza quicker than you can say Dazed And Confused, ID, and THE FACE.
