we're almost all settled in.
all I can say is... i love my neighborhood.

also, i cut off the top of my finger and we're hoping it reattaches. gross.
estrada:
That explains your AIM status. Ouch. I have nightmares about losing fingers.
letigre:
yikes.

where did you move to?

ok.
we remodeled the bathroom.
made an aesthetic change in the kitchen, temporary fix until we can remodel.
painted nearly every room in the house.
removed carpet and installed hardwood in bedrooms.
added wallpaper....

the house looks completely different.

I'm going to start the "bring the bidet to the mainstream US" movement.

if I'm really lucky, I'll have a toilet by Monday.
I'm getting really really good at holding it.

Thank goodness for crate training!

i have a few things from AA, but since i don't wear t-shirts and everything they make is out of t-shirt material, it's kinda sucky.

i went to the renegade craft fair last weekend. it was pretty awesome. have you been doing anything crafty lately? one of these days we'll have to meet up for tea or something. i really miss that. do you remember that little place off of hyde we went to? i can never remember the name or even the street. -just that the owner and place were darling.

hm.. so I guess it's been a while.
1. Bought the new place.
2. Went to greece.
1 - 2 combo: Signed the deal while in Greece... poor planning.
3. Rented our place in Oakland out. This means I will be a landlord as of August 1st.
4. Will be renovating, and then moving, to SF this month.

Home. Although, recently, I've been missing Tokyo...

I always confuse Greece and Macedonia.

...well no, not really but I wanted to type Macedonia.
estrada:
I sometimes confuse Macadamia and Macedonia too. That makes mixed nuts all the more wiley.

i'm a nervous wreck from the home stuff.
I don't know when I won't be.

We might sell our unit, we might rent it... who knows. I am going to miss it. Thinking about moving and leaving it behind makes my heart sink and I get close to tears.

I've been doing a lot of figure drawing, which I love. My favorite instructor is letting me sit in on his classes, which is nice. I really forgot how much I love being in school and joking with him. I also like to be around talent. It makes me...

I don't think I need to say that I'm beyond relieved with the result of the election.

except prop 8.... for some reason, the part of Oakland directly in front of my house was the crazy hot bed of 'yes on 8' people, and I wanted to run them over. They even attacked some people. What really gets me is the funding coming from out...

I'll say. 52% votes for prop 8?? Are you fucking kidding me?? I'm so disappointed with that percentage of California. Someone tried to reason with me that the same voters that voted for Obama were the ones who were against gay marriage... wtf?
munchies187:
Agreed, my ex was raised LDS, although she didn't practice. I have to say they do have good family values and I did learn a lot from her family.
