Remember how in my last post, I said I was sad because my visitor from Vegas had to leave soon?

Well, the good news is that his flight got canceled...twice...so he's been able to stay here an extra week.

The bad news is, his flight leaves tomorrow and as a result I won't be making it to Coakley's Pub in Maryland for SG night.

Fire and I have had this thing planned for quite some time, and I feel shitty that I can't make it, but the situation is out of my hands. Plus when I agreed to host with her, I was living with Steve in Philly and I didn't think we'd be breaking up permanently, forcing me to move back home in Upstate New York, which is 5 hours further away from MD.

I'd be willing to sacrifice the 7+ hours on a bus and almost 200 dollars for bus fare if I knew I didn't have to abandon my guest, but that seems pretty rude to leave him here with my parents while I go out to get shitfaced. I don't know, the whole thing is crappy and I feel terrible about it. I'm really sorry to everyone who wanted to see me there. I know I'm missing out on something awesome.

I'm so sorry about the snafus. At least you got to spend more time with your guest.
I'd been looking forward to coming, but I'd forgotten when it was and made other plans. When Acacia mentioned it to me last night, I went "oh fuck!" I figured it would be my only chance to meet you.

well,it just shows you have class.
i had a friend who did that to me one time,i rode a bus 5 hours to phoenix to see an old friend and most of the time i was there he left to go hang with his friends and left me at his place
it shows everyone that not only are you beautiful outside but beautiful inside as well.
