Wow...sounds a lot like me... I've always been asked why I'm so quiet. And it's bc I often observed rather than interacted. Too a fault at times. But feel like I've learned a lot from it. Now, for me,  it's a matter of balancing the two, interacting versus observing.

Being curious and observant is not a bad thing, I try to just observe things too sometimes, but only about people I know. Unless it is people watching time when you just go some place and watch others carry on about their lives.

I saw an interview with Jenna Jamison (famous, yes), and she said, at the time that she was the wealthiest female porn star. She had her own production company. She picked the movies that she would do. Picked the men that she would work with. Picked the ladies who co-stared. Picked the directors that she would work with. Had complete control. Chose what kind of sex was portrayed. Was making more money than most men porn stars. She said it was the one career where women could become all powerful. Pretty amazing if you think about the porn industry today with the internet. One of the biggest industries in the world. I am not making any judgements here, just passing on what she said.

@shines Yeah, when they're really famous, I'm sure they have loooots of control over the details in their work, but I'm not sure if all porn stars get that power. I hope they do, though! I'd be ultra bad ass.
