Talk about bad timing.
Been in London for a little over a month now with my hopes of finding a job dwindling by the day.
I finally catch a break and get a crappy events servicing job. Not exactly what I would prefer but something is something.
Only to be told by Bill, the dude that runs the place where I'm staying, that if I...

sorry to hear it, hope you find something. any SG's around there???

thats bullshit!!
i wish i had time to research london landlord tenant law. states side u need a warrant of eviction to remove a person's property. even more so the threat coming on a sunday. enlgish law is intertwined w/ christian law. i'd bet money that a landlord can't evict u on a sunday. i would call a housing authority in the morning, make sure this landlord isn't running u around.

otherwise, goodluck.

ok so there are super fuckin late but I figured I might as well post them.
Pictures of my Halloween here at London.
It was a pretty fun night. I was smashed as hell and honestly don't know how I made it back home but luckily the club I went to was really near to where I'm staying.
I was a zombie, oh! yes and...

YES!!!
It already seemed a given but I'm pretty sure everybody had that little speck of doubt whether Obama really would win this momentous election.
But it's happened. I've never been prouder to call myself an American. We are making history and hopefully this is the beginning of a new, better period for our country.

*whew* what a sigh of relief!!!

biggrin

WHY THE FUCK AM I STILL IN THIS??
I want to drop dead, half the time I want to kill him or better yet myself. I don't even know if I get mad anymore because he's taken so much from me already and feel like I'll be left empty when he's gone or because I really truly care. I've shed more tears over that sorry...

take charge. do what you want, one step at a time.

You know what you really want and what you have to do. Take a deep breath...tell those you love your plans. AND..... Choose to persue your idea of what life can be.

Your just afraid. Everyone's been there. But, if you go you have to go soon. And you have to do it alone. Otherwise it's not yours. If you stay you'll just keep trying to be nice. To fix it. And it will anger you because you know what you have with this person isn't IT anymore.

Break away clean without hooking up with someone else. And then you can clearly state you left to follow your own heart. Not, someone elses who doing the same. yes, leaving on your own is scary. But you only learn that you can balance, by walking out on that tightrope alone.

Take Heart... you have alot of friends....XO

I'm sad.
I'm leaving back to school soon and i REALLY don't want to.
But it seems inevitable.
The only thing stopping me from going is money and whether my loan gets approved but considering this recession our country is going through I'm starting to wonder if it'll happen or not.
I kinda have my fingers crossed that I won't get approved and will have...

You should have no issues getting a loan due to the credit crunch. Student loans are guaranteed by the government to the lenders - you are not a risk.

If you don't want to go to school up-state don't. Stay home and go to school. Save some money and not graduate from school is massive debt.

There is no rule that says you must go away to school.

Good luck making your decision and in the long run it will not matter which path you take.

I've decided to change my life's direction.
I am not feeling fulfilled or happy with going to college and studying journalism.
I'm not at all looking forward to going back this fall.
I'm dreading it like I'm dreading getting old.
It's not what I see myself doing.
I love writing but I don't see myself as a journalist.
Maybe as a freelance writer here and...

If you have a Sephora near by your school you can pick up good make-up skills there working part-time.

FWIW get the four year degree it is worth having - it really is the modern HS diploma. Returning to school can be very hard especially if you have been out for four or five years. Also if mom & dad are paying, even if only a little, it is still better than doing it yourself and graduating with massive debt.

Good luck.

I'm bored.
It's July.
I've been home since May 15th and I haven't done anything remotely exciting.
The most exciting thing to come will be going to Cruefest.
I don't even go out as much as I used to bc I don't get paid enough.
I'm hardly working bc my part time job is REEEAAALLLLY part time.
I only work like 2 or 3 days...

I got a new haircut!
YAY!! biggrin
I feel purty.
It looked really good when I first got it done bc the lady used those really good, really expensive flat irons.
So it doesn't quite looks as good as that first day since my crappy flat iron cost only 16 bucks but hey.
I'm happy with my haircut.
It's soooo short but I don't regret cutting...

I've started running in the mornings and I love it!
I go running at the park by my house for about an hour or two (depending how I feel).
It really starts my day off right.
It's been so long since I've woken up early, and now I'm starting to again to go running.
I come home, walking at a much slower pace than is...

I FINALLY got a fucking job!!
It's not that great of one.
It's retail (surprise surprise) at a store called Charlotte Russe.
At least it's really super close to home so I don't have to worry about transportation.
I have orientation tomorrow and I'm super excited.
I liked the manager, she seemed real laid back and cool.
And the girls that I interviewed with, if...
