"Sage" in definition is a greyish green herb that is sacred and used in ritual in many cultures of old as well as sometimes used in culinary applications. It also refers to one with great wisdom or experiance. Other than the sage color of this set's under garments. It's this wisdom that I'd like to briefly reflect on while letting you know what being on site during one of my photo shoots is like. This specific set was shot in the afternoon of a relatively warm day of May during the UK Shootfest of 2019. Now as articulate as I may be, in person I'm quite shy and quiet. So during the madness of all the beautiful ladies, shoots are taken place all over, my nerves are a little shaken. Casca eventually finds me after shes taken countless shoots out in the hot sun of other ladies. We talk briefly and we make our way to our chosen set location. This is my first time with her, I'm shy, but her personality, kind beauty, and friendly demeanor put me at ease and thats when, like a switch being flipped, my state of mind changed. You see, when I start to shoot, its a very intimate and spiritual thing for me. Sexual, primal, uninhibited by shame or insecurity. Casca was apologetic about being a bit sweaty because the poor girl was baking in sun all day. All I could think about was how beautiful and intoxicating her pheromones were. There are many insecurities we have, yet if we look deeper, many of these things are what some find beautiful about us. It's this freedom of thought and comfort I absolutely relish during shooting. My goal one day is have this mental wisdom all the time.
