Yeah, now that I've built my place up a bit and have a fair amount of caps, it's a lot more reasonable to leave them out. I sent a guy out with Vengeance and combat armor and he came back wearing a radiation suit and carrying 10 or 12 additional things of armor and weapons, including a plasma pistol. After I revived him, of course. Plus, I have a lot of stims now, so I can send him out with more next time.
