So you want peace at the breakfast table huh? Oh, you'd like that wouldn't you hippie? You wheatgrass swilling college types with your trendy sportcoats with the patched elbows make me want to puke! And after I puke I'm gonna eat more breakfast! So, thank you I guess!

hamconsage?

Also, Puppies, I generally agree that links > patties, except that the upper end of the quality range on patties is really long, and sometimes you find patties that are pure heaven. As though someone took their snowblower, threw in some spices and drove directly at the pig. That fresh and good.

mmm....that sounds good.

unfortunately, everywhere i've ever had patties, they've been dried out and lacking the nice bit of grease and sealed-in flavor that i usually get with links.

but now i must seek this patty nirvana you speak of. you've given me a new goal.

I love canadian bacon and salted pork, but I don't like bacon.
I love germany sausages, but I don't like sausages which are made in the states or Japan.

I'm so picky for breakfast meats.

Canadian bacon < Munichen white sausage < salted pork < normal bacon < sausage link < sausage patties

NO HAM for my breakfast please!

The Bloody Mary, though, is a clear yes.

There is a cut called "breakfast steak" which is a small, tender steak. And if you're really good, you cook it wrapped in bacon biggrin

Some luxury hotels in Japan, they have breakfast steak on their morning meal menu, but I have never seen anyone who ordered it. tongue
I'd love to try it someday. smile
